‘taste…VINOPOLIS’ launch their Christmas party theme for 2008

taste…Vinopolis is renowned for being the first in the industry to launch their Christmas party theme each year and this year was no exception. Squaremeal’s Venues and Events exhibition at Old Billingsgate in September was the platform for ‘taste…Vinopolis’ to launch Circus, their spectacular Christmas party theme for 2008.

Vinopolis’ unique venue spaces will be transformed into a circus from 1866, the year the soaring Victorian arches were built. The food and drink will be a celebration of traditional British winter fayre inspired by Borough Market and a fanfare of performers will entertain throughout.

An invitation only showcase of the circus theme is taking place at Vinopolis at the end of October.

Ruinart Champagne Bar Launch

Last week, we launched our new Ruinart Champagne Bar to the media. We welcomed our guests with a flute of Ruinart Champagne and then let them have a sneak preview of the bar.

The lovely Penny Smith from GMTV was here as well as various other TV people which gave the event a bit of showbiz glamour.

Amazingly, over 30 magnums of champas were quaffed - a very difficult job for the 70 people in attendance!

Daytime Solutions Launch

Last week 'taste...VINOPOLIS' was proud to present our Daytime Solutions Showcase, our new event management solution service for conferences, product launches and exhibitions.

Over 150 event bookers attended the opening launch. Guests were guided around our 7 event spaces set beneath the soaring arches of Vinopolis and treated to wine tasting, Champagne and various gourmet delights.
